CT Circus Cake Smash Photo Session –

Did you know I offer all sessions from Maternity through one year old?  I even offer family sessions to current clients as well.  The cake smash is one of my very favorite sessions to capture.  It is messy and fun and a wonderful way to culminate our year together.  I love, love, love how we can incorporate three parts to the one year session.  As soon as you all come into the studio we will first capture your baby all spiffy and clean.  We quickly move onto the cake.  And, well, to be honest, that can go either way.  Some babies love the cake and some really don’t like it at all.  This is why I always suggest that you feed your baby a piece of cake before they come to me for their session.  It helps them recognize the textures and the mess it will create.

Once we feel your babe is done with the the cake photos, we will then move onto my absolutely favorite part of the session.  The bubble bath!!  It is so adorable to finish up these pictures by letting them splash in the tub.  Rub-a-dub, get clean in the tub.  No mess for you to clean up and a fairly clean baby to go home with .  Isn’t that so much fun?

So what do you need to do for your cake smash pictures?  Well, give me a theme and colors of choice and I will run with it.  And I’d expect to have a LOT of choices of photos after our session.  Many clients choose to get an album with 20 or more images in it.  It is a beautiful, custom made signature album that is a wonderful keepsake for years to come.  Don’t forget to preserve your memories so our children don’t have to rely on a computer screen to view themselves.

What fun! Love the idea and these photos. We all know how little ones like to mess up that perfect cake and then smear themselves and everything around them. What better way to capture that spontaneous joyful time than with a professional session where parents can let go of the stress and enjoy the moment along with their little one. Lisa Millerick is an amazing photographer who brings humor and insight to the experience, along with a background grown in caring and compassion. Our kids grow up so fast, it’s important to make time for photos. We’re never sorry that we do; we’re only sorry when we don’t!ReplyCancel
